In a direct challenge to alleged electoral discrepancies, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Congress stalwart, DK Shivakumar, has declared that the party will orchestrate a protest at Bengaluru's Freedom Park on August 5. The demonstration will culminate in a march to the Election Commission to present an appeal against purported electoral fraud.
Shivakumar's declaration also highlighted that Congress and the Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, plan to initiate their advocacy from Karnataka, perceiving it as a strategic launchpad to fortify their campaign nationwide. The protest aims to underscore what they describe as rampant 'election fraud.'
Building on accusations of 'bogus votes' in urban booths across Karnataka, Shivakumar insisted on exposing these findings to the public and the poll body. This aligns with Rahul Gandhi's earlier claim of possessing '100% proof' of voter manipulation, a charge yet to be substantiated with concrete evidence.
