On Saturday, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney expressed approval of the United States' willingness to provide security guarantees to Ukraine, an initiative aimed at reaching a peace settlement to conclude Russia's war against Kyiv.
Carney emphasized the necessity of strong and credible security assurances for achieving a fair and enduring peace. He commended the United States' openness to offering such guarantees as part of a Coalition of the Willing's efforts.
