BJD chief and opposition leader in the Odisha Assembly, Naveen Patnaik, has been admitted to a private hospital, party leaders confirmed on Sunday. His ailment is reportedly due to age-related issues.
A senior BJD leader mentioned that the hospital is expected to release a bulletin soon detailing Patnaik's current condition.
The 78-year-old, who had reported feeling unwell on Saturday night, had previously undergone spinal surgery for cervical arthritis in Mumbai before returning to Odisha.
