Senior BJP leaders, including Jharkhand's BJP chief Babulal Marandi and former chief minister Raghubar Das, extended their well-wishes to Radhakrishnan, emphasizing the benefit of his extensive experience in public life. Das highlighted the potential strengthening of the parliamentary system under Radhakrishnan's influence.
The vice-presidential election, driven by the recent resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar, is set for September 9. The last date for filing nominations is August 22, as noted by Nadda, who also expressed hope for support from opposition parties for the NDA's candidate.
