Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has taken a strong stance against the Election Commission of India, accusing it of deflecting responsibility by demanding an affidavit from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Reddy argued that the poll body had failed to address critical questions raised about alleged 'vote chori' and voter list discrepancies.
At an event commemorating Telangana warrior Sarvai Papanna Goud, Reddy revealed plans to ally with Congress figures, including Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and state president Mahesh Kumar Goud, to support Rahul Gandhi in Bihar. They aim to spotlight serious concerns involving the deletion of 65 lakh votes in Bihar and voter registration anomalies benefiting BJP candidates elsewhere.
The chief minister highlighted electoral inconsistencies, accusing the Election Commission of manipulative practices while urging the public to verify their voter registration status. Additionally, he challenged the BJP on unresolved quota bills affecting Backward Classes and questioned the party's stance on Muslim reservations in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
