White House Claims Trump's Triumph in India-Pakistan Conflict
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt claims President Donald Trump ended an India-Pakistan conflict through American strength. She cited trade leverage and talks mediated by Washington. India, however, asserts the resolution was through its military officials. Additionally, Trump imposed sanctions on India to influence the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

In a recent press briefing, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt credited US President Donald Trump with ending the military conflict between India and Pakistan, attributing it to the formidable influence of American diplomatic and economic strength.
Leavitt emphasized that Trump's administration had showcased progress in several global conflicts, notably highlighting the India-Pakistan tension, which she claimed Trump helped diffuse by exerting significant leverage. In contrast, India maintains that the ceasefire was a result of direct negotiations by its military leadership.
In an effort to pressurize India further concerning the Russia-Ukraine situation, Trump's administration has imposed new sanctions, including tariffs on Indian trade related to Russian oil. India has responded by denouncing these measures as unjust, vowing to protect its national interests.
