Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, is reportedly rethinking his plans to establish a third political party. Instead, he intends to concentrate more on his existing companies and is cautious about creating rifts with influential Republicans, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Sources familiar with the situation revealed that Musk is contemplating using his substantial financial resources to support U.S. Vice President JD Vance if he chooses to run for president in 2028. As of now, neither Tesla nor the White House has responded to requests for comment on these speculations.

Musk had launched the 'America Party' in early July, after strongly opposing President Trump's tax-cut legislation. This initiative was portrayed as a means to restore individual freedoms, following high-public demand for a new political entity.
