The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader, Asaduddin Owaisi, launched a scathing critique of India's diplomatic strategy with China, holding the Modi government accountable for leaving the country in a vulnerable position on international platforms.
The remarks follow a recent visit by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to India, which reignited discussions over China's influence and India's policy response, especially in relation to Taiwan and military support to Pakistan.
Owaisi took to social media to question External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, focusing on discrepancies between stated and perceived policies and highlighting persistent trade imbalances favoring China, while accusing the government of a series of diplomatic missteps.
