Dalai Lama's Heartfelt Birthday Message to PM Modi

Tibetan spiritual leader, the 14th Dalai Lama, extended warm birthday wishes on Wednesday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who turned 75. In a heartfelt letter shared on the Central Tibetan Administration's website, the Dalai Lama praised India's progress and contribution to global development during Modi's tenure.

The Dalai Lama expressed gratitude to India, highlighting its role as a spiritual and physical refuge for Tibetans for over 66 years. Emphasizing India's religious pluralism and democratic principles, he referred to himself as a proud messenger of its values to the world.

As part of Modi's birthday celebrations, the BJP has organized 'Sewa Pakhwada,' a series of events including health camps and fairs to promote indigenous products, running nationwide until October 2. These initiatives underscore the party's recognition of Modi's leadership and dedication to national growth.
