The Bharatiya Janata Party's Bihar president, Dilip Jaiswal, has strongly criticized the Congress party for posting an AI-generated video depicting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother. Jaiswal argues that the incident reflects the INDI alliance's deteriorating political integrity.

Jaiswal welcomed the Patna High Court's decision, which ordered the removal of the video from social media platforms. He emphasized that this ruling should serve as a lesson to Congress leaders and act as a deterrent against future misuse of social media.

The controversial video has further intensified political dynamics in Bihar as the region gears up for assembly elections. The incumbent National Democratic Alliance, led by Nitish Kumar, faces a formidable challenge from the INDIA bloc, including Congress and RJD. Meanwhile, the Bihar Congress has formed its State Election Committee, which includes numerous prominent leaders as the candidates prepare for the electoral battle.
