In an unexpected twist preceding the fervent Bihar elections, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant commended the notable developments in Bihar, including its international-standard airport, upon his arrival in Patna.

Expressing optimism, Sawant affirmed he would actively participate in the campaign for two days, connecting with party workers and fostering the BJP's governance vision.

In political sparring, Sawant criticized Congress for endangering democracy in the past while BJP figures rebuffed vote theft allegations. Meanwhile, opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav accused Bihar's current administration of rampant corruption ahead of the assembly polls.
