Marking the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), BJP leader Anurag Thakur hailed the organisation's immense contributions in revitalising India's cultural heritage and traditions. Speaking on Thursday, Thakur applauded the Sangh Parivar's efforts across various societal sectors over the past century.
'As the RSS celebrates one hundred years, this milestone is more than an organisational achievement; it is a testament to India's enduring cultural spirit,' said Thakur. He highlighted the RSS's role in promoting unity through disciplined and selfless service.
Chief Mohan Bhagwat underscored individual character building and the Shakha system's role in nurturing value-driven citizens. Celebrating this historic journey, the government issued a commemorative coin and postage stamp, symbolising the RSS's century-long impact on the nation.
