The Congress initiated a year-long 'Gandhi Pathe Odisha' yatra on Thursday, aimed at spotlighting alleged voter fraud and increasing crimes against women during BJP's tenure in the state.

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhakta Charan Das inaugurated the march from Mugi point in Malkangiri, alongside Chhattisgarh, on Gandhi Jayanti. The journey, beginning from Mugi point to Potere via Motu, is set to span 314 blocks across the state.

Das outlined the plan to pause the march for the Nuapada assembly by-election, vowing to resume post-elections. Addressing the crowd, Das criticized both the BJP and previous BJD government for neglect and exploitation, urging transformation for Odisha's people.
