He alleges that the government is ill-equipped financially to handle severe flooding in six northern districts, including Kalaburagi.
Deve Gowda intends to survey the flood-affected regions, committing to a visit within a week. He further plans to engage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seek financial compensation for those impacted by the floods.
Amidst claims of confusion among Congress MLAs, the schemes in question include 'Gruha Jyothi', 'Gruha Lakshmi', 'Anna Bhagya', 'Yuva Nidhi', and 'Shakti'. These initiatives offer various benefits like free electricity, financial aid to women, free food grains, unemployment benefits, and free bus travel for women.
