During a visit to Belagavi, Ashoka lambasted the state government under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for its alleged inaction. Reports indicate that Maharashtra's dam releases have worsened the flooding in the Bhima and Krishna rivers, severely impacting districts like Kalaburagi and Vijayapura.
While Chief Minister Siddaramaiah recently conducted an aerial survey, Ashoka claims there is a leadership vacuum due to internal Congress conflicts. The BJP leader suggested that a change in leadership is on the horizon, with speculations about potential candidates for the Chief Ministerial role.
