Dr S Ramadoss, the 86-year-old founder of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), has been hospitalized for a cardiac evaluation. His condition is stable, and hospital sources report he will be discharged following routine tests.
Amid this health issue, his son, Dr Anbumani Ramadoss, visited him. The visit marks the first public interaction between the two since their relationship soured last December. The rift led S Ramadoss to remove Anbumani from his role as party president.
Party officials had attempted reconciliation between the two leaders without success. Meanwhile, PMK reassured its members that there is no cause for alarm regarding its founder's health, urging calm and unity among its ranks.
