Samrat Choudhary was sworn in on Wednesday as Bihar's chief minister, succeeding Nitish Kumar, in a ceremony administered by Governor Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (retd). NDA leaders exuded confidence in Choudhary's leadership, expressing optimism for rapid development in Bihar under the 'Modi-Nitish model'.
Choudhary, the first BJP chief minister in the state, expressed commitment to continuing the development initiatives started by his predecessor, Nitish Kumar. He reaffirmed Bihar's alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a 'Viksit Bharat'.
