Union Minister Piyush Goyal has launched a scathing attack on the Tamil Nadu government, accusing it of failing to deliver adequate development funding while struggling with escalating crime rates and drug issues.
Goyal termed the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance a failure, citing internal conflicts and corruption allegations, including claims related to TASMAC, sand mining, and land allocation. He asserted that the alliance benefits only the Stalin family, contrasting it with the NDA's vision for economic development and women's safety.
Highlighting frequent BJP visits to the state as a testament to their concern for Tamil Nadu's people, Goyal criticized limited visits by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He expressed confidence in NDA's strong public support ahead of the assembly elections on April 23.
