Mamata Banerjee's Bold Promise: Aiming for Victory and Unity in West Bengal Elections

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed confidence in securing victory in the ongoing assembly elections, citing a high voter turnout in the first phase as a positive sign. Speaking at a rally in Kolkata's Bow Bazar area, Banerjee stated that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is already in a favorable position to win.

Banerjee announced her intentions to rally opposition parties to challenge the BJP's hold in Delhi, underlining that her campaign is about more than personal power, but about ending the BJP government in the capital. Her remarks came in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's comments on the enthusiastic voter turnout, which he interpreted as a mandate for change.

In another rally, Banerjee criticized the BJP for allegedly deleting names from the voter list, against which she claimed to have successfully reinstated 32 lakh names. Emphasizing her longstanding dedication to public causes, Banerjee reiterated her belief that the TMC will triumph, unaffected by the extensive deployment of central forces.
