Annalena Baerbock, the President of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, is scheduled to conduct official visits to India and China next week. The confirmation came from her spokesperson, La Neice Collins, during a briefing.
Baerbock's itinerary includes bilateral meetings with government officials in both countries, having been invited by their respective governments. In India, she will also meet with the UN country team led by Resident Coordinator Stefan Priesner.
Her trip marks the first time she will visit India in her UNGA capacity, following previous visits as Germany's foreign minister.
