On Friday, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of political subterfuge, purportedly orchestrated through former AAP senior leader Raghav Chadha. The AAP alleges that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is strategizing to fracture AAP's unity by using Chadha as a pawn, aiming to diminish AAP's parliamentary influence.
AAP Punjab's chief spokesperson, Baltej Pannu, claims the BJP is exerting pressure through central agencies and incentives, like promising ministerial positions, to sway MPs away from AAP. Despite these accusations, AAP insists their lawmakers remain steadfastly united.
Meanwhile, the BJP has refuted these accusations, dismissing them as baseless. As political tensions rise, the showdown highlights the ongoing strife between AAP and BJP, with implications for future electoral contests and governance strategies.
