In a strategic diplomatic move, President Donald Trump has announced the deployment of his envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to Pakistan for pivotal talks with Iranian officials. Scheduled for Saturday, these discussions will focus on negotiating with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt expressed optimism about the potential outcomes in a recent Fox News interview, stating, "We're hopeful that it will be a productive conversation and hopefully move the ball forward to a deal."

While Vice President JD Vance will remain in the United States, he, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the national security team, is prepared to travel to Pakistan should the situation demand their presence.
