Social activist Anna Hazare has remarked that the departure of Raghav Chadha and six other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha members could have been avoided if the party had adhered to the 'right' path.

Speaking in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar district, Hazare suggested that the members must have encountered challenges within the party, prompting their exit. Chadha joined Sandeep Pathak in a press conference in Delhi, announcing their decision to leave the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP and join the BJP.

This exodus, involving nearly two-thirds of AAP's Rajya Sabha members, presents a notable setback for the party, which was initially formed in 2012 after gaining momentum from Hazare's anti-corruption movement.
