Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin embarked on a short getaway to Kodaikanal, a favored retreat following election campaigns. He traveled via chartered flight to Madurai and proceeded by road to the scenic destination known for its serene lakes and lush landscapes.
Stalin was joined by his wife Durga and other family members on this four-day respite, just days after the conclusion of the Tamil Nadu Assembly election on April 23. His return to Chennai is planned for April 29, allowing a brief escape from intense political engagements.
This excursion marks Stalin's third visit to Kodaikanal under similar circumstances. Meanwhile, his son, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi, has embarked on a separate journey with his family to Dubai, both scheduled to return before the vote counting on May 4.
