AAP leader Sanjay Singh declared the party's intent to appeal for the disqualification of seven MPs who left for the BJP. He emphasized that the anti-defection law precludes any factions in legislative houses.
According to Singh, neither the anti-defection law nor the Tenth Schedule recognize such political fragmentation, regardless of majority size.
Following the announcement by AAP Rajya Sabha MPs Raghav Chadha and Sandeep Pathak of their transition to the BJP, Singh plans to formally write to the chairman of Rajya Sabha.
