Nabin made the remarks after arriving in Varanasi, where he was received at the airport by party leaders and workers. He later visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple and offered prayers. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary and southern Varanasi MLA Neelkanth Tiwari were present during the visit. Speaking to reporters, Naveen said he had come to seek the blessings of Lord Kashi Vishwanath after the first phase of polling in West Bengal. ''Mamata Didi's government is going and the BJP's victory is certain there. The BJP is going to form the government in Bengal,'' he said. Party workers welcomed him with chants of ''Har Har Mahadev'' and ''Jai Shri Ram''. Voting for the second phase of assembly elections in West Bengal will take place on Wednesday. The first phase of elections took place on April 23. Votes will be counted on May 4 along with Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry which went to the polls in a single phase held earlier this month.
