Biplab Kumar Deb, a prominent BJP figure, has proclaimed the Trinamool Congress as a 'gone case' following its significant loss in the West Bengal assembly elections. The BJP secured 207 seats, thereby concluding the TMC's 15-year dominance and ushering in a crucial shift in the state's political dynamics.
In a statement, Deb expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for liberating West Bengal from what he described as the Trinamool Congress government's misgovernance. He sees the election outcome as a historic victory for democracy and a clear rejection of the TMC's administrative failures.
Upon his return to Tripura, Deb received a warm welcome from BJP leaders and supporters. He also visited the Maa Tripura Sundari temple to offer prayers, reflecting on his new responsibilities in the wake of BJP's decisive win.
