Probe of Hungary's leaks to Russia did not show security breach, EU says

An investigation into possible leaks by Hungary of EU information to Russia has not identified any serious security breach so far, a spokesperson for the European Commission said on Friday.
"The relevant Commission services have now finalised the investigation and on this basis the Commission has concluded that no serious security breach could be identified in relation to the allegations appearing in the media," the spokesperson said.
Investigative news outlets released leaked phone calls earlier this year that purported to show how Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's government has worked to serve Russian interests and undermine EU efforts to aid Ukraine.
