On Monday, CPI(M) state secretary M V Govindan stated that the decision regarding the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Kerala Assembly will be made at a later date in Kerala.
This announcement came following the CPI(M) Polit Bureau meeting in New Delhi, where the matter was not a point of discussion.
Speculation persists over whether former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan or former Finance Minister K N Balagopal will lead the CPI(M) front in the Assembly.
