JCD Prabhakar Unanimously Elected Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker
JCD Prabhakar has been elected unopposed as the Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Assembly. His nomination was proposed by Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay. Following his election, Prabhakar immediately assumed the role and conducted the election for the Deputy Speaker, where M Ravisankar was also elected unopposed.

JCD Prabhakar has been unanimously elected as the Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker. Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay proposed his nomination, underscoring full support. With no other contenders, Prabhakar was declared elected unopposed by Pro-Tem Speaker M V Karuppaiah.
Upon his election, House tradition was honored as leaders from both governmental and opposition sides escorted Prabhakar to the Speaker's chair. He immediately took charge of the assembly proceedings with confidence and authority.
Subsequently, Prabhakar presided over the election for the Deputy Speaker position. TVK MLA from Thuraiyur, M Ravisankar, was elected unopposed to the role, ensuring seamless leadership as Prabhakar begins his tenure guiding the assembly's discussions.
