In a move marking a new chapter for Assam, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his confidence in the state's leadership under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Singh emphasized his hope for an era of abundant growth and inclusive development in the northeastern state.
Sarma, in response, acknowledged Minister Singh's encouragement, reaffirming his commitment to a prosperous and developing Assam with the unwavering support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This comes after his formal swearing-in by Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya.
The ceremony, held earlier in the day, also witnessed the swearing-in of new ministers including the BJP's Rameswar Teli and Ajanta Neog, AGP's Atul Bora, and Charan Boro of BPF, further establishing the framework for the state's governance.
