In a sudden and untimely demise, Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, died at the age of 38. Despite his familial political ties, Prateek veered away from politics, focusing instead on fitness and animal welfare.
Prateek's sudden illness led to him being rushed to a nearby civil hospital, where he was declared dead shortly after arrival. His brother-in-law confirmed the tragedy via phone, mentioning the family's desire for privacy during this difficult time.
A well-known figure due to his political lineage, Prateek had publicized a personal dispute with his wife, Aparna Bisht Yadav, vice chairperson of the State Women Commission and a BJP member, earlier this year, but they later reconciled.
