In a significant move towards sustainable energy use, prominent BJP leaders have initiated a reduction in the sizes of their official convoys following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent appeal for responsible energy consumption. This comes amid the ongoing crisis in West Asia, emphasizing the need for efficient resource utilization.

Among those implementing these changes are Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has ordered a 50 percent reduction in government vehicle usage, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who has echoed similar measures. Both leaders are advocating for public transport and carpooling to minimize fuel consumption.

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav and other leaders have conveyed similar directives, prioritizing the use of public transport. This collective effort aligns with PM Modi's call for reduced dependency on imported fuel and promoting sustainable practices as a patriotic duty.
