V D Satheesan has been named the 24th Chief Minister of Kerala, a development that has elicited strong support from Congress leaders and newly elected MLAs. KPCC president Sunny Joseph praised Satheesan in a Facebook post, echoing sentiments of congratulations across political circles in Kerala.
MP Shafi Parambil, in his Facebook message, referred to Satheesan as the leader of the Congress-led UDF government and expressed his confidence in Satheesan's capacity to lead based on public sentiment. V T Balram, another Congress leader, highlighted the widespread public support underpinning Satheesan's elevation as CM, emphasizing the sentiment as a democratic victory.
Rahul Mamkootathil, an expelled Congress leader, also congratulated Satheesan, noting that the UDF's recent victory represents a triumph following years of political effort and challenges.
