In a candid admission, DMK President M K Stalin took full responsibility for the party's defeat in the recent Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Speaking at the DMK headquarters, he announced the formation of a panel to investigate the reasons for the electoral loss.
Stalin criticized the rival AIADMK for its strategy of housing newly elected MLAs in a resort, highlighting that unlike other parties, the DMK accepts defeat with dignity. He noted that despite the setback, the DMK and its allies secured 73 seats, a considerable number that reflects the party's enduring strength.
The former Chief Minister underscored the need for introspection and strategic planning for future elections while pointing to the support required by the C Joseph Vijay-led government to establish a stable administration. Stalin assures the DMK's commitment to the welfare of Tamil Nadu, focusing on measured political maneuvers in a fragmented assembly scenario.
