The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has urged Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, C Joseph Vijay, to take legal action against DMK leader Udayanidhi Stalin, following his contentious remarks advocating for the 'abolition' of Sanatan Dharma.
VHP national joint general secretary, Surender Kumar Jain, criticized Udayanidhi's insults towards Hindu sentiments, labeling him a 'habitual offender.' He called for a strong condemnation from the Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker, advocating for Udayanidhi's comments to be expunged.
The discussion on anti-Hindu politics extended further with VHP remarking on Telangana's legislative move to pass a hate speech bill, which they view as a tool to suppress Hindu voices. Concurrently, protests erupted in Telangana addressing the rising concern over cow slaughter, underlining the dire need for enforcing stricter laws.
