V D Satheesan Poised to Lead Keralam with UDF's Landslide Victory

Senior political dignitaries flocked to the official residence of V D Satheesan in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday. The meetings with the newly appointed Chief Minister-designate of Keralam, reflects the political momentum gained after the United Democratic Front's resounding triumph in the recent Assembly elections.
A day after Congress declared Satheesan as the incoming Chief Minister, these strategic consultations were held. Among those who met with Satheesan were key figures like Vigilance Director Manoj Abraham, Intelligence Wing Head P Vijayan, and Chief Secretary A Jayathilak. Satheesan is expected to take his oath of office at Lok Bhavan on May 18.
The UDF, under Satheesan's leadership, achieved a decisive victory in the 140-seat Assembly, securing 102 seats and dislodging the Left Democratic Front from a decade-long governance. As part of his preparations, Satheesan also met with Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar and sought guidance from veteran Congress leader V M Sudheeran, emphasizing the respect and mentorship Sudheeran has offered him throughout his political career.
