Despite potential domestic political upheaval, including the prospect of a leadership contest to replace Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Cooper's visit is poised to proceed. Although not presently a leading contender for the Labour leadership, Cooper's extensive political experience, having previously served as interior minister, underscores her critical role in these diplomatic efforts.
