During a briefing aboard Air Force One, Trump labeled the war a 'senseless bloodbath' and noted discussions with China's President Xi Jinping, with both leaders favoring an end to the fighting. Trump highlighted that the recent attack was a significant setback.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy sought international condemnation of the strike. In Russia, it was reported that a Ukrainian drone attack in Ryazan claimed four lives. As diplomatic activities continue, Russian President Vladimir Putin is slated to visit Xi in China next week.
