The Congress party is set to launch a new chapter as internal discussions on portfolio-sharing among UDF allies in Thiruvananthapuram have reportedly reached an amicable conclusion. Senior leader K Sudhakaran expressed optimism about the party's refreshed image ahead of a pivotal swearing-in ceremony scheduled on Monday.

After meeting Ramesh Chennithala, who was discontent with not being selected as CM, Sudhakaran revealed that Chennithala might assume the role of Home and Vigilance Minister in the new cabinet. 'All issues have been resolved amicably, providing the Congress party with a rejuvenated image,' Sudhakaran stated.

Although Chennithala confirmed his strong rapport with Sudhakaran and expressed delight in their collaboration, he refrained from commenting on his satisfaction with the portfolio distribution. Sudhakaran acknowledged minor pending issues but assured they would be addressed soon, reflecting a united front for the Congress party.
