BJP Challenges RLP Leader's Remarks, Faces Backlash Over Minister's Conduct
The BJP criticized RLP leader Beniwal for unsavory comments against the Chief Minister, while also dealing with accusations against its own minister for allegedly threatening police officers. This raises questions about political decorum amid ongoing tensions between parties.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) recently criticized Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) chief Hanuman Beniwal for his controversial remarks against Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. However, the party found itself under scrutiny due to allegations against its Minister of State for Cooperation, Gautam Kumar Dak, for reportedly abusing police officers.
BJP state president Madan Rathore and others condemned Beniwal, who reportedly called Sharma ''moorkhadhiraj''—a derogatory term—during a protest march. Contrastingly, an FIR was filed against Minister Dak at Dungla Police Station after he allegedly threatened and used disrespectful language towards policemen.
The accusations, stemming from a reported incident on Monday, prompted Beniwal to accuse the BJP of hypocrisy regarding political etiquette. In response, Beniwal highlighted instances where BJP leaders, including Rathore and Education Minister Madan Dilawar, had previously made inappropriate remarks.
Beniwal argued that the BJP cannot criticize others while its own members engage in similar conduct. The controversy underscores the heightened political tensions and calls attention to the necessity for decorum among public representatives.
