In a significant development for Arunachal Pradesh, Governor K T Parnaik has lauded the efforts of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for successfully completing 21 essential infrastructure projects in the state. The announcement was made during a virtual inauguration event at Raj Bhavan.
The projects, spread across multiple regions including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Arunachal Pradesh, mark a considerable shift towards reinforcing national security while promoting economic prosperity in the northeastern border areas. The Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, also participated in the ceremony, underscoring the importance of these initiatives.
Highlighting the strategic impact, Governor Parnaik emphasized that the new roads and bridges would enhance connectivity and uplift remote communities. He further acknowledged the BRO's 66th Raising Day, congratulating the organization for its ongoing commitment to building robust infrastructure in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Viksit Bharat'.
