Kotwali Station House Officer Jasveer Kumar speculated that a gas cylinder blast might have been responsible for the collapse. However, he emphasized that only a detailed investigation will determine the exact cause.
Among the deceased were Salman, Sachin, and Mohammad Aslam, each connected to the building either as a shop owner or workers. The injured are currently receiving medical attention, while rescue teams continue to search for any additional victims.
