In a dramatic turn of events, seven individuals, comprising five Indian tourists, were rescued from the waters of Fewa Lake in Nepal's Pokhara after their boat capsized on Thursday.
According to reports, a sudden windstorm struck the area, leaving the group stranded in the middle of the lake. Thanks to the prompt action by Nepal's Armed Police Force, all individuals were successfully rescued.
The Indian tourists were treated for minor injuries and returned safely to their accommodation. However, a Nepali national remains in the hospital for further medical care, confirmed Superintendent of Police Surya Timilsina of the APF.
