In a distressing incident on Monday, four family members working in a bike horn manufacturing unit at Sangam Park, northwest Delhi, were hospitalized after allegedly inhaling toxic fumes. The affected individuals are identified as Hardeep Singh, his spouse Harpreet Kaur, and their children, Jagdish and Hargul Kaur.
Police reports indicate that the family arrived at the DSIDC Shed number 63 early in the morning when they inadvertently came into contact with noxious vapors. The alarming episode was unfolded after an urgent PCR call led authorities to the site, where they found the family members in critical condition.
The family was swiftly transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment and are currently under medical observation, though reported to be in stable condition. In response to the incident, the concerned shed has been sealed off, while law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances leading to the exposure, with a case now being formalized.
