The mishap happened near the Chambal water project in Jaderua village. Workers found themselves trapped as loose soil caved in, drawing immediate intervention from police and local villagers.
While rescue efforts were swiftly underway, 40-year-old Kallu Singh tragically succumbed to his injuries. District hospital Dr. Krishna Yadav reported that the surviving workers sustained fractures and trauma.
