IMD's X Account Hacked: Investigation Underway

The India Meteorological Department's Regional Weather Forecasting Centre faced a security breach when its X account was hacked, leading to the reposting of inappropriate content.

The issue was brought to light by PTI on Saturday evening. Upon receiving the information, the IMD promptly deleted the unauthorized posts and initiated a thorough investigation.

In a public statement issued on Sunday, the IMD confirmed the hacking incident of RWFC New Delhi's X handle and assured that corrective actions are being taken. The matter continues to be under active investigation.
