A devastating explosion at a pharma plant in Telangana's Pashamylaram industrial estate has left 12 dead and 34 injured. Authorities believe the blast, which occurred between 9.28 am and 9.35 am, was caused by a suspected chemical reaction in a reactor.
The explosion at Sigachi pharma company prompted immediate action from the local police and fire departments, with ten fire engines and personnel from NDRF and SDRF engaged in rescue operations. The site was visited by Telangana Ministers and Labor Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy.
Prime Minister Modi expressed his sorrow over the tragic incident, offering condolences and announcing financial aid for victims. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed officials to ensure trapped workers receive advanced medical care.
