Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has reaffirmed his commitment to eradicating homelessness among the economically disadvantaged in the state. On Monday, he distributed ownership certificates and plot allotment letters under the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana and Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0 to hundreds of beneficiaries.
During the state-level program in Panchkula, Saini emphasized that housing initiatives are not merely about construction but symbolize empowering society's weakest segments. He underscored the transparent selection process, highlighting the government's focus on need-based assistance without favoritism.
Saini and Development Minister Krishan Lal Panwar lauded the achievements under these schemes, noting significant progress in both urban and rural housing. The government has extended financial aid and provided necessary land with strong coordination between state and central authorities. This marks a transformational stride in not just housing, but also in development sectors like education and employment.
