A devastating car accident claimed six lives in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district, as a vehicle plunged 500 meters into a gorge. Five deceased were members of the same family, including a government school teacher, his wife, two children, and a brother-in-law. Another individual, offered a ride by the family, also perished.
The tragedy unfolded near Chanvas in Tissa, as the family was returning home from Banikhet late Thursday night. Preliminary investigations suggest a falling rock struck their vehicle, leading to the fatal plunge just a kilometer from their residence.
